§ 01
The Idea

What Trotskyist actually means.

Trotskyism is a branch of Marxist-Leninism that advocates for global revolution, worker-controlled governance, and opposition to bureaucratic rule.

Leon Trotsky's ideology emphasized 'Permanent Revolution'—the belief that socialism must spread internationally to survive. Trotsky argued for a dictatorship of the proletariat but insisted it should be controlled by workers' councils (soviets).

Workers' democracy via soviets, not party tyranny.
