Not a troll. Genuinely: what's the strongest case that the default is collective ownership of surplus, and private retention is the carve-out that needs justification?
Theft requires an owner. Property requires a state to enforce. Therefore taxation is the fee.

The strongest political argument I've ever heard came from a Treasury official: "Most policy is plumbing. The plumbing has to work." Exciting policy that breaks plumbing kills people.

Genuinely curious. Polling consistently above 60% with rebate. No politician seems to want to own it. Is this a coordination problem, a credibility problem, or am I reading the polls wrong?
Reformism is a managerial wing of capital. Prove me wrong with a historical case where reforms didn't get reabsorbed.
NHS worked for 40 years and is being dismantled now. Nordic model working until it hit a current-account shock. The pattern is too consistent to call coincidence.
