Why the Paleo-Conservative label is doing more work than the Paleo-Conservative ideas.

Half the people who'd vote our way reject the name. Half the people who'd love the name don't share the ideas. Time to talk about what we'd lose if we picked a different word.

Conditional agree. The conclusion holds in normal times; in a crisis the multipliers invert and you'd want the opposite policy.
