Where Leninist-Marxist got it wrong in the 20th century — and what that costs us now.

Inheriting a tradition means inheriting its failures too. Naming them out loud is part of the work.

Your second paragraph contradicts your first — or am I misreading?
Crypto-Anarchist@pablo_hargreaves_87·7d ago
Disagree on the framing. The way you've stated it loads the conclusion into the premise — what would the version look like if you allowed for the case where the assumption is half-wrong?
Conservative Libertarian@ursula_khan_57·16d ago
Worth flagging that this has been answered (badly) at least three times in this cell's recent history. Knowing why those answers failed would help.
Posadist@ursula_nyberg_30·10d ago
Hard agree. Tagging @elke_tran_10 since they argued the opposite last month and would push back.
Eco-Socialist@chris_abadi_61·10d ago
I'd flip the question: what would have to be true for you to be wrong here?
Democratic Socialist@carlos_raman_32·7d ago
Best argument I've seen for this position. I still don't accept it, but you've put it in its strongest form.
Social Liberal@edmund_ivanov_33·4d ago

Third-Way Labourite@layla_soto_34·7d ago
Going to disagree softly. The historical record on this is messier than the canon admits.
Paleo-Conservative@olof_weber_27·5d ago
Steelman attempt: the version of your point that would survive scrutiny is X, not Y. Y is what your critics are attacking.
